At Manly Picture Framing and Darkroom, we’re a small local studio offering custom framing, darkroom experiences and photographic printing from our home-based workspace in Fairlight on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Originally established in Manly, the business is now run by local photographer Tom Parrish, who took over the studio with his dad Mark, and transformed it into a more personal, appointment-based creative space. With over 10 years working professionally in photography and the past 5 years in picture framing, Tom brings a photographer’s eye to every piece that comes through the studio - understanding not only how artwork should be protected, but how it should ultimately be presented.

The studio is also home to the Northern Beaches’ only dedicated black and white darkroom, offering film development, traditional darkroom printing, workshops, and darkroom hire for photographers wanting to experience analogue photography in its original form.
